the forth email that i sent to IBLP

To those that care

Some of you have asked me what is the point that i have bean trying to get across. well the point is that i what you to ask yourself,

What do i believe?
Am i following God or am i following a man?
The convictions that i have are they from God or are they from other people's teachings?
Are those teacher saying that their convictions are Gods law?
Why do i look first to a man for counsel and not to God first?

the point is that i what you to look deeper into what you truly believe and not just follow what a teacher believes. so here is a story from a girl that truly questioned what she believed.

so bye for now

Honestly, I'd really like to see some current IBLP'ers get on these forums and talk some things out.

I'm surprised to find anyone in the Gothard camp who will keep an open mind and respond compassionately to stories like that.   The reason I say that is because Gothard presents his material as the answer.  Well, if you have the answer and you are confident about it, then what reason do you have to listen empathetically to others who say, "The principles didn't work...just look at what happened to me."

My mother will never do that.  Never.   She is heavily invested in the view of parenthood that IBLP entrusted to her and will never let it go.  She is the monarch of the household and her will is to be done, even in the lives of her now adult children.  If you care to express a different opinion, she will simply stop talking to you and so it stands now to this day.  I married a woman outside of her will and we have not spoken since, even when I have made an effort to reach out.  Again, I would be surprised to find anyone who is heavily invested in Gothard's teaching who will tolerate such a free exchange of ideas for long.

I'm curious as to what key words might have been blocked.  Were they key word in the subject line or the body of the email itself (perhaps even the email address)?  Is it possible that they simply blocked your emails altogether?

It might be blocked if the body has a link to this site.
