In this Oscar nominated film the warden tells the prisoners they receive two things :The Bible and discipline.Sound familiar?Would like comments from anyone who has seen the movie.

hey doc,
FRESH FISH FRESH FISH!! heck yeah, it's one of my favorites! quite non-incidentally, i watched it at a friend's house while i was attending pensacola christian college, my last stop on the mental slave route that was fundamentalism. the overwhelming message of transcendence, personal freedom and hope had me writing entire scenes in my journal for reference back on campus.
... and yes, the ocean is as blue as it has been in my dreams. *wink*

Yeah it's good, but the story is better; check out Stephen King's Changing Seasons. Incidentally, in addition to the obvious prison metaphor, there's another analogy derived maxim that you could learn for dealing with fundies: look out for your cornhole. I'm convienced that's what really "foxed" up MM's mind in the first place.
